Talepoint Books ("we," "us") is a small, family-run shop based in Georgia, United States. We collect as little information as possible — only what we need to process and ship your order. We do not require or offer customer accounts.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information you provide at checkout:

Your name and email address.
Your shipping address.
The items you ordered and your order history with us (order number, amounts, and status).

We never see or store your full payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe (see below).

How we use your information

To process your payment and fulfill and ship your order.
To send you transactional emails about your order (confirmation, shipping notification, refund confirmation, and — if you opt to leave one — a review request).
To respond to your questions and handle returns or refunds.
To keep records required for accounting and tax compliance.

We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Service providers

We share information only with the providers needed to run the store:

Stripe — processes payments and collects the billing, email, and shipping details you enter at checkout. Stripe handles all card data under its own privacy policy.
Resend — sends our transactional order emails on our behalf.
We use privacy-friendly website analytics (including aggregate page views on Vercel) and first-party, anonymous session data so the shop owner can see general browsing patterns and abandoned carts. These use a random browser id (not your name or email) unless you reach checkout — we do not sell this data or use it for third-party ads.

Shipping region

We ship only within the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from customers outside the US.

Data retention & your choices

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request deletion where we're not required to keep it, email us at parwitar@talepointbooks.com.

Children's privacy

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
